How We Track Patches

Retro Library and StarMarine do not publish a formal changelog for Clean The Library. This timeline reconstructs updates from the live Roblox game description, title tags like [Fixes] and [EVENT!], Rolimon badge and gamepass snapshots, and community in-game verification. Dates use US Eastern Time when the developer schedules events.

Some patches ship without written notes—the Giant Map and Grand Library expansions arrived with badge and store changes but no bullet list. We label unverified details explicitly and update guides when players confirm behavior in-game.

There is still no official Trello board. Use this page plus the updates hub and codes page instead of unofficial Trello links.

July 2026 — Classes, Events, Easy Mode

July 5 — Admin Abuse event: Limited-time event window at 11:00 AM ET. Gameplay details were not announced in advance; rewards vary by pop-up event—verify in-game if you participated.

July 4 — Classes update (major): New class/profession system unlocked through Ascend Tokens earned from Grand Library clears (2/4/6 tokens on Easy/Normal/Pro per community reports). Six classes—Apprentice, Librarian, Athlete, Enchanter, Sage, Grand Librarian—with spell multipliers on Magnet, Scan, Glow, Organize, plus carry and movement bonuses on some roles. July 1 — 8 Player Madness return (event): Developer ran a 24-hour window for up to eight players per server. The original 8 Player Madness [Event] badge is historical; whether this return re-enables it is unconfirmed—see badges page.

Easy Mode: The live Roblox description now mentions Easy Mode in map selection settings—a lower-pressure option for learning section codes before Normal or Pro clears.

Late June 2026 — Fixes, Grand Library, Giant Map

June 30 — Fixes update: Game title shifted from [GIANT MAP!] to 📖 [Fixes]. Bugfix batch with no new gameplay content. Free-code milestone raised from 75,000 to 100,000 likes. Assistant Magnet gamepass (499 Robux) went live the same day—now offsale per Rolimon. Specific fixes still being verified without an official patch note.

June 27 — Grand Library update (major): New Grand Library wing with five badges including Clean The Grand Library (1.6% Rolimon win rate) and The Grand Pro [Pro Mode]. New gamepasses: Assistant Forever (1,299 R$), Error Detect (99 R$), Infinite Magnet Range (799 R$). Free-code milestone raised from 50K to 75K likes. Pro Mode [Instant Unlock] removed from store (offsale). 24-hour launch event Jun 27–28 ET; content is permanent. See Grand Library map and Grand Library guide.

June 25 — Giant Map update (major): Library expanded to 4,000+ books total with a new placeable-books mechanic. Layout details still being mapped by the community.

June 23 — Book Save (major): Books dropped on the floor now persist between sessions—you no longer lose floor progress when leaving a server. Changes sorting strategy; see Book Save guide.

May 2026 — Launch

May 26 — Public release: Clean The Library launched on Roblox by Retro Library (StarMarine project lead). Two-floor Classic Library with 31 shelf sections (1A–1N, 2A–2Q), four keys, five magic abilities, co-op public servers, and leaderboard speed clears. Inspired by Librarian: Tidy Up the Arcane Library.

Launch promised a free code at early like milestones—threshold later raised repeatedly to 100,000 likes with no code released yet as of July 6, 2026.

After any patch, re-test routes in speed run, stuck shelf fix, and complete walkthrough guides if behavior shifts.
